Myron Pincomb

President and CEO

Accomplished entrepreneur Myron Pincomb founded Educational Tools, Inc. in 1999 where he currently holds the position of President and CEO.  Under Myron’s leadership Educational Tools, Inc. has grown  from a small start-up with limited capitol to a highly profitable leader in the educational publishing industry in just six years. Educational Tools, Inc. now employees over 50 people, does business in 12 states and has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Florida.

Previous roles included founding partner of Quadrant Technology and founder and President of Industrial Solutions, Inc.  In these roles Myron was involved in the start up and rapid growth of both companies. Prior to selling Industrial Solutions in 1999, Myron developed several chemical formulas that helped revolutionize the industrial maintenance industry. To this day Myron still holds the rights to several of these formulas.

Myron was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he began his collegiate career at the University of Colorado.  He then re-located to Jacksonville Florida in 1992 and completed his studies at the University of North Florida.  He holds a BA in Biology and Chemistry.

He is a strong leader who achieves success by building teams of quality people who believe in a common goal. He has been recognized as a visionary in the fields of business development and scientific education. His satisfaction comes from being the best at whatever he sets out to do.  He is able to motivate others to excellence and to get the job done despite obstacles. He thrives on challenges and tough assignments and believes that work should be fulfilling and rewarding.

On a personal note, Myron enjoys boating, golf, working out and spending time with his friends and family.

Ryan Pettus

Vice President of Operations

Ryan joined the Educational Tools team in October 2005 and took over the handling of day to day business operations. He is directly responsible for managing the Shipping, Graphic Art, and Accounting departments and also plays a role in setting sales policies and overall company decision making. Since joining the team Ryan has implemented a sales reporting system, improved the accounting systems, and worked closely with vendors to minimize costs.

In previous roles Ryan gathered extensive accounting experience as an Accounting Manager with HomeSide Lending, Inc. (the world’s 6th largest mortgage company at the time) and as a Senior Accountant with Winn Dixie (one of the largest grocery chains in the Southeast). In these roles Ryan gained valuable business experience that lead directly to his ability to run Educational Tools today.

Ryan was born in Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Florida at the age of two He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida.  He then re-located to Jacksonville Florida in 1999 and earned an MBA from the University of North Florida in 2005.

Ryan is a problem solver who loves finding business problems and then fixing them. His “employee empowerment” style of management is conducive to handling the many different types of personalities found within the organization, and his accounting background makes him a perfect compliment to the company’s entrepreneurial-minded CEO.

On a personal note, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, football, and playing tennis.
