Presentation Formats
The Educational Tools’ Professional Development Team provides a wide variety of solutions to meet your educational needs. We offer trainings for all schools grades K-12. Our unique training topics can be based on a cross-curriculum approach or focus on an individual discipline. Each training will vary according to the needs of the school and will be customized to maximize productivity.
Our training formats can be packaged in the following manner:
In-service Presentations
These are 90-minute trainings usually given before or after school hours. This style format can be given to any size group and is usually used as an introductory type presentation or as part of a series of related presentations. In-service presentations offer limited hands-on activities to the participants, but do pack a huge punch in the information department. When planning an in-service presentation, any topic in the customized training directory can be modified and delivered to accommodate the time restraint.
Workshops
This is a 3.5 to 6 hour training usually given on a staff development day, Saturday, or during the summer. This style format can be given to any size group and it includes a more detailed or focused approach to the topic. Any topic in the customized training directory can be delivered for this style format.
Institute
This is a 2-10 day training usually scheduled on staff development days, a series of Saturdays, or during the summer. This style format can be given to any size group from 2-100 and includes a very detailed and focused approach to the topic of your choice. Each of our institutes are given by multiple members of our highly qualified team and includes breakout sessions with extensive hands on opportunities. It is preferred that all institutes be booked in a facility where breakout rooms or computer labs are available. Any topic in the customized training directory can be delivered for this style format.
